A Kent Institute of Art & Design (KIAD - often pronounced phonetically as ) was an art school based across three campuses in the county of Kent, in the United Kingdom. It merged by using a Surrey Institute of Art & Design, University College on August 1 2005 to form the University College for the Creative Arts.
It offered further education, higher education, postgraduate and part period courses at trey campuses, inside Canterbury, Maidstone and Rochester. Everthing specialised inside different artistic disciplines.
Famed alumni include Tracey Emin. Retiring private instructor include Ian Dury and Stephen Farthing FRA.
